Press Publish is a sanctuary for that part of you. The part that doesn’t want to perform, but wants to express. The part that knows there’s a body of work waiting, even if it hasn’t fully taken shape yet.

This is where we begin to bring your Substack world to life. Step by step, together.

If you’ve come across from The Business of Becoming, then you might already know the energy of my world, but Press Publish is a bit different.

This is the rolled-up-sleeves version. The “hair-in-a-bun-and-taking-action” version. Here, we do the work of shaping what’s been forming internally into something real in the world.

Starting on Substack can feel confusing, but I want you to know that you don’t have to figure it all out alone.

Decide, which path is yours?

The first thing to do is to work out where you’re starting from. Not everyone arrives on Substack at the same place, and that’s completely fine. There are two paths here, and hopefully you will recognise yourself in one of them.

The Starter Path

…is for you if you are ready to go, go, go.

Perhaps you’re arriving here from LinkedIn or Instagram. You already have a brand - a logo, a colour palette, a sense of your visual and deeper identity - and you’re ready to translate that into Substack and get going with your content. This path is the quickest route to get you set up, get your first posts moving, and build from there. Full access to this path is part of the Studio Membership.

The Brand Foundations Path

…is for you if you’re not quite there yet.

If you know you have something to say, but the visual and brand layer still feels a bit fuzzy, and you’d appreciate my expertise as a brand designer to support you. The colours, the fonts, the feel of the whole thing…in this path we start there. There’s free content to get you oriented, and some deeper paid resources when you’re ready for Studio members. Once your foundations are in place, you can come back and pick up with the Starter Path.
